LEG TWO-PROLOGUE
Aboard the Elissa II in Norhtport Michigan Marina just before dawn on Labor Day, September 3rd, 2012. At mid morning we will top of the fuel tanks and cast off the lines to begin the second leg of our journey around the Great Loop. As explained earlier, we are "eating the elephant" in small bites. This leg will end somewhere between Demopolis Alabama and Pensacola Bay, Florida, early to mid- November and will see the boat laid up for the winter. Leg Three resumes the journey in March, 2013,
What follows will be daily copies lof the Elissa's log with a lot of local color details added. Will try to post them one day in arrears, but no guarantees.
